PC DATA FILING TIPS

OK, I'm even guilty of this. I have thousand of photos, graphics and other pictures in folders all over my PC. I'm just too lazy to spend the hour or two to organize....

I've seen this everywhere, from home to the office. Data, in places where it shouldn't be. Sensitive data not being backed up because it's in the wrong place. Here are a few tips to help get you organized:

1. My Documents Folder, use it. Create sub-folders for the various bits of data files you have.
2. Folder Sharing, good idea for mutliple users. Set up a folder structure, and even a file naming structure to help keep everyone efficient.
3. Backing-up, just in case, set up the folders you want backed up easily by keeping things organized.
